Frequently asked questions

Does it count uppercase and lowercase letters separately?
Yes, by default 'A' and 'a' are counted as different characters since they are different characters. Use a case-insensitive option if you want them combined.
Are spaces, punctuation, and line breaks included?
Yes, every character you paste in is counted, including spaces, tabs, newlines, and punctuation, so you can see exactly how your text is composed.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Counting happens entirely in your browser, so pasted text, drafts, or sensitive content never leaves your device.
