Remove Line Breaks

Strip line breaks from text and join it back into a single line. Free and private, right in your browser.

Paste in text that's been broken across multiple lines (a copied paragraph, a PDF extract, an address block, a CSV cell) and get it back as one continuous line, ready to paste into a form field, spreadsheet cell, or search box that chokes on line breaks.

How to use it

  1. Paste or type your multi-line text into the box
  2. Pick a separator to join lines with (space, comma, or none)
  3. Copy the flattened single-line result

Frequently asked questions

Does it delete spaces between words too, or just the line breaks?
Just the line breaks. Words that were on separate lines get joined with a single space so you don't end up with words mashed together.
Can I choose to replace line breaks with something other than a space, like a comma?
Yes, use the separator option to join lines with a comma, pipe, or any character you want instead of a plain space.
Will it also collapse multiple blank lines or double spacing left behind?
Turn on the extra-whitespace cleanup option and it strips repeated spaces and empty lines in the same pass, so the result is one clean line, not one line full of gaps.
