- Does this remove emojis and accented characters too?
- Emojis and symbols like ©, ™, or math signs are stripped along with standard punctuation. Accented letters (é, ñ, ü) are left alone since they're letters, not punctuation. Only diacritical/combining marks get removed if you enable that option.
- Will it collapse the extra spaces left behind?
- Yes, by default double spaces created by removed punctuation are cleaned up automatically so you don't end up with gaps where commas and periods used to be.
- Can I keep some punctuation, like apostrophes in contractions?
- Yes, there's a toggle to exclude specific characters (apostrophes, hyphens, etc.) from removal so words like "don't" or "co-founder" stay intact.
