Frequently asked questions

Does this remove emojis and accented characters too?
Emojis and symbols like ©, ™, or math signs are stripped along with standard punctuation. Accented letters (é, ñ, ü) are left alone since they're letters, not punctuation. Only diacritical/combining marks get removed if you enable that option.
Will it collapse the extra spaces left behind?
Yes, by default double spaces created by removed punctuation are cleaned up automatically so you don't end up with gaps where commas and periods used to be.
Can I keep some punctuation, like apostrophes in contractions?
Yes, there's a toggle to exclude specific characters (apostrophes, hyphens, etc.) from removal so words like "don't" or "co-founder" stay intact.
